The Tandoori Oven Story

We started out in 2003 with a simple idea in mind, we wanted to share the wonders of the Indian cuisine with the people from all cultures. Three years later, with all of your support, we now have 5 locations on the Peninsula and in the South Bay Area and have received rave reviews from many of our devoted fans.

On this blog, over the coming months, we’d like to share with you our passion for good authentic Indian food, and the various techniques we use to make sure what we serve up is fresh, tasty and healthy.

    Actually Dave, you are right (almost), I missed that when I wrote up this first post in a hurry. The first store we opened was actually in December of 2003 in Los Gatos. Then two years later we opened our Pruneyard store in Campbell, then again two years later we opened our downtown San Jose store, and later came the Palo Alto and Daly City stores.

    I really enjoyed eating the chicken tandoori wrap…I loved the crunchy parts of the chicken!!! I was missing a casual cafe-type Indian restaurant in my area and now I found one!!! The wrap was huge too…big enough for two people who love to eat!
